Meghan is an software developer based in Berlin. Back in the day, she studied Math & CS @MIT. When not coding, Meghan can usually be found cycling, building bikes, or speaking at tech conferences 🤓🌎.
Since she's lucky to travel a lot while speaking at conferences & teaching computer science topics, she sees her bicycle as a beautiful way to explore a new place. Being able to disassemble, reassemble, and fix her bikes quickly has been a critical skill for enabling her to bike around the world. She thinks everyone should learn the essential tools for maintaining their bike 🔧🚲.
Brendan is a data analyst & IT expert based in the NYC area who is learning how to make great software. Brendan is into politics, video games, reading, and good movies (big Star Wars fan).
Brendan likes to bike around Brooklyn and has ridden anything from a single speed to a hybrid to an electric bike. Last summer, he conducted a in depth data analysis study about the lack of bike safety measures in the NYC area. This opened his eyes to the amount of work we have to do to spread awareness of cyclists' needs. The more people we get onto the streets to bike and maintain their bikes, the better it will be for all of us 🙂.
